Hello Editor002 thanks for your last reply it was fantastically informative. I had wondered, some reports going around that Leicester are willing to drop their asking price for Chilwell to leave for Man City or Chelsea is that true? And you said in the last reply that we would be interested in Bertrand, Tagliofi co and max Clarke which sounds good options but you also said might be abit out of date, are they still the options? Thank you very much.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Leicester dropping the price they want for Chilwell to help him on his way - why would they do that? What I said was Lee Congerton is aware that they may lose Bertrand and have looked at several left backs who could replace him. It does not mean that they are viable options and right now to the best of my knowledge the interested sides have walked away from Chilwell because of the asking price. The players I mentioned were: Sam McCallum (LB) who the club were keen on but he opted for Norwich. Kieran Tierney (LB) Nothing has changed. BR knows the player well and a jump start at Leicester may be good for his career. Arsenal want to keep him. Charlie Taylor (LB) has been watched. I would discount him as I said before.
Max Clark (LB) I said he is Home Grown and could be the smart choice. Nothing has changed. Kostas Tsimikas (LB) is still another option for Leicester if Chilwell were to depart. Yuto Nagatomo and Ryan Bertrand can be struck off the list now. I suggested that Nicolas Tagliafico would likely not be attracted to the club with interest from elsewhere and I would stick by that for now. He is allowed to leave this summer with a couple of other Ajax players but will be looking beyond a clb like Leicester - but he has been looked at.}

Thanks so much for clarifying. And your absolutely right Ed makes no sense in lowering their price, especially considering it’s the same club that held out £80m for maguire last summer.
